Munga's weekend Surf Forecast 11th & 12th July 2015

July 10, 2015

Unfortunately the waves will be small at 1-2 feet for this weekend though great beginner waves all along the coast with some tinny Malibu waves on the point breaks.

The winds for Saturday will be offshore N/NW 5-10knts then tending N 10-15knts later in the day.

Sunday should see perfect conditions with winds from the W at 10-15knts, which unfortunately will blow much of the swell out to sea producing only 0.5 to 1 foot of waves.

Don’t let the cooler weather deter you from the surf!

Don’t let the cooler weather deter you from the surf!

With the shortest day of the year yesterday, the days will be getting longer from here on in. We are one month into winter so don’t let that stop you from getting in the water because you think it is too cold.

Water temperatures range from 21.0 °C to 22.8 °C so nothing to complain about being in the Sunshine State, though a good wetsuit will help!
