Munga's Weekend Surf Forecast for Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June 2015 
Surf Outlook
Gold Coast waves will be small 1-2 feet from the SSE for the weekend.
There will be some fun waves on the open beaches early before the wind comes up with slightly bigger waves at D’Bah and TOS.
Small Malibu or beginner waves along the point breaks with a stronger SSE wing picking up early to mid-morning at 15-20knts on Saturday and 10knts on Sunday.
Low tide is around 10:00am with a high tide just before 5:00pm.
Burleigh Heads will be a great opportunity to get out the back if you are an intermediate wanting to step into the next level of your surfing.

Don’t let the cooler weather deter you from the surf!

With the shortest day of the year yesterday, the days will be getting longer from here on in. We are one month into winter so don’t let that stop you from getting in the water because you think it is too cold.

Water temperatures range from 21.0 °C to 22.8 °C so nothing to complain about being in the Sunshine State, though a good wetsuit will help!

With predominate offshore winds (SSW, SW, W, NW) blowing early morning and sometimes all day long, you are more likely to get clean conditions and good surf throughout the winter time.

Burleigh Heads will always produce something to ride and coming into July is predominately great surf conditions with expected classic south swells.

So clean the dust of your surfboard, come and get a lesson or refresh your experience with a one on one private lesson @godfathersoftheoceansurfschool.

Mostly sunny morning. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the afternoon and evening.

Winds: SSW until mid-morning tending Southerly 20 to 30 km/h.

Southport Seaway Tide Times Saturday 20th June

Low tide: 04:38am of 0.28m

High tide: 10:26am of 1.17m

Low tide: 4:06pm of 0.33m

There is a 2-3 metre southerly swell on the increase due to a storm pushing up from down south.

Signs of the swell should be present early Saturday morning with offshore winds up til mid-morning.

Surf able waves 3-5feet along the beach breaks early though the point breaks being the best pick.

High tide will slow the waves down but excellent for beginners and novice surfers on the inside of Burleigh Point. For the experienced surfer, Snapper Rock will be crowded but should be pumping all day.

Partly cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers.

Winds southerly 20 to 30 km/h.

Low tide at 05:19am of 0.31m

High tide : 11:12am of 1.14m

Low tide: 4:51pm of 0.41m

 With the southerly swell pushing and a strong south wind blowing, the protected point breaks will be the place to pick a few fun waves with the chance of a few bigger waves outside.

High tide again will slow the waves down for beginners and novice surfers and be best on the inside of Burleigh Point. Again for the experienced surfer, Snapper Rock will be the pick early though the wind will turn more south east and with the current spreading everyone out, hopefully!
