TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payments
We require pre-payments for all bookings; we do not handle cash at the beach. Payment options are Direct Transfer, or credit card. All payments are required to be finalized prior to lesson date. You are required to give 48 hours for direct transfer payments, if making a payment within 24 hours we require a bank transfer for receipt copy or credit card payment.
Cancellations/Refunds
All participants are required to give Godfathers of the Ocean 48-hour’s notice for any cancellations on scheduled Group Lessons and Private Surf Lessons. We do not refund, however, a credit voucher can be issued to use at a later date or to gift to another person. In the event we do offer a refund an adminstration fee and credit card fees will apply. We reserve the right to assess each application for refund on a case by case basis and do not garauntee you will recieve a refund.
All refunds have a $25.00 administration fee!
Rescheduled Lessons
Godfathers of the Ocean Surf School reserve the right to cancel and or reschedule surf lessons due to extreme weather and or dangerous surf conditions. In the event this occurs, we will endeavour to reschedule your lesson to another time and day that suits the participants and Godfathers of the Ocean, however in circumstances that this is not possible, we can offer a credit voucher for yourself or to gift to another person. We do not refund due to bad condtions and or rainy weather!
If you require to reschedule your lesson for any reason, an adminstration fee of $25.00 will apply.
Rainy Weather
No surf lessons are cancelled due to rainy conditions, no refunds or reschedules are available to those who do not cancel within cancellation period stated above.
Illness
We understand there are times where you may fall ill, in the event that that this happens and you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson or give notification within the cancellation periods as stipulated above, Godfathers of the Ocean unfortunately cannot offer a refund or credit.
Gift Vouchers:
There are ‘no refunds’ offered on Gift Vouchers. Gift Vouchers are to be redeemed within a 12-month period from purchase date. However, you can contact Godfathers of the Ocean and request an extension if circumstances have prevented the use of the voucher. Godfathers of the Ocean reserve the right to the final decision.

As with any physical activity, it is important that before beginning any fitness regime, you consult with your health care professional to ensure that you are mindful of your current health and any restrictions that are appropriate for you. You should immediately seek medical attention if there are any unanticipated changes to your physical condition at any time.

By making a booking confirmation and payment, you have accepted our terms and conditions.
All participants are to read and agree and sign the indemnity form prior to each lesson.
